Lumiprobe protein labeling kits contain pre-aliquoted reactive dye, all necessary auxiliary components and buffers, and desalting spin columns to achieve efficient, reproducible labeling of antibodies, and other proteins.

The labeled protein is purified by means of gel filtration on gel filled spin columns that are enclosed. This protocol ensures complete removal of the unbound dye, and excellent recovery of the labeled product. The protein is eluted in PBS buffer, ready for the use in most downstream applications.

The protocol is quick, effortless, and easy to follow.

BDP TR is a bright and photostable borondipyrromethene dye, which is especially suitable for microscopy applications. The dye has a long excited state lifetime, and is therefore is useful for fluorescence polarization assays. Its large two-photon cross section makes this dye useful for two-photon spectroscopy.

This NHS ester is an amine-reactive form of the dye.

BDP 581/591 is a borondipyrromethene dye that has relatively long fluorescence lifetime and two photon excitation cross section. It is useful for fluorescence polarization assays. Due to the presence of a diene system, it can react with reactive oxygen species (ROS) with a change of fluorescence.

This is the NHS ester derivative for the conjugation with primary and secondary amine groups of proteins, peptides, and other molecules.

Phenylethynylpyrene (PEP) fluorophore is a polyaromatic hydrocarbon label with high sensitivity to microenvironment. Similarly to pyrene, PEP dye readily forms excimers. However, PEP fluorescence is more red-shifted

PEP can be used as microenvironment probe, and as a label for assays based on excimer formation.

This reagent contains triethyleneglycol linker to facilitate dissolution of non-polar PEP dye in organo-aqueous labeling reaction mixtures. With this azide, and Click Chemistry, it is easy to turn any molecule bearing alkyne into PEP-labeled probe.

Water-soluble Cyanine5 dye azide for Click chemistry. Bright and photostable dye with red fluorescence. The reagent has high water solubility. Due to high solubility and hydrophilicity, the dye can be used for labeling biomolecules in native, purely aqueous conditions.
