Nylon wool fiber can be used to separate leukocytes from peripheral blood and to separate T-cells from B-cells. Granulocytes and B-cells stick to the fibers, while T-cells and other cells do not.

Nylon Wool Fiber (NWF), used for separating T-cell and B-cell
lymphocytes, is available in quantities of 10g and 50g bulk
packages, enabling users to pack columns of any size. Wool fiber
uses include removing B-cells from blood and isolating viable
T-cells for routine phenotyping. B-cells selectively adhere to the
fiber, while T-cells do not, resulting in successful recovery of both
cell types. We also offer pre-packed, Nylon Wool Fiber syringes
ready for use in immunology cell separation procedures.
